My poor baby!
Oh, my poor little Brig! Today we were getting ready to go for ice cream after Bridger & Brielle's soccer game. As we were walking to the car, one of my kid's friend's was carrying Brig, & she stepped into a TRENCH that Tony & Bridger had been digging (it's a long story WHY they were digging a trench... so we'll just leave it at that~) and they both FELL straight onto the hard driveway! Brig's head was bleeding like no other (you know head wounds... they are scary cause they bleed like a siv!) & this poor little gal thought it was her fault. Plus her ankle got hurt pretty bad when she fell in the trench, so she was crying, Brig was crying, & I wanted to join them both out of panic! We ran inside the house, and Tony had just left about 2 minutes earlier to go to the hills to get firewood for the winter. Kenna called him in a crying panic, telling him that Brig's head was bleeding all over. I'm at the kitchen sink trying to get a cold cloth onto his head & see how bad it really was. This sweet little friend was sobbing & apologizing over & over. Tony comes BARRELING into the driveway & I just hand Brig over to him. (Once he gets the truck stopped...) There was blood drips all across the kitchen tile, the driveway, & down my clothes. It looked pretty dang gross. Brig is such a little toughy, though, 'cause as soon as we got him cleaned up, he just sat there, excited that I was going to give him MOTRIN! ("Yummy orange Motrin! I LOVE orange Motrin!") Ya'all should be glad I don't have access to my own computer & can't load any pics on this, cause you probably would've seen the trail of blood thru my house & my poor baby's disgusting head! Count your blessings. I know I already counted mine!

Oh, I'm so sorry this happened to little Brig and the little gal carrying him! Hope all turned out well and nobody needed stitches or a cast. Give Brig (and all the rest of your family) a love from us!
oh poor little Briggy, I feel his pain. I had stitches in my head twice and it's no fun. Give him squeezes and smooches from us.
Oh how sad for you guys! Did he need any stitches? Is everyone ok? You got to watch out for those trenches! Well on a lighter note, guess what? My whole family is coming up to Bear Lake to stay in a condo Nov 7 & 8 so we will have to come see you!
Yes, those heads BLEED...my experience involves boys jumping from couch to couch and "missing" and smacking against the window sill instead...
Did you still get ice cream? - I'm stuck on that part! - that'd make ME feel better...well, Motrin (extra strength) does a pretty good job, too! :)
Are you still bloggin' at the library?
Briggy Boo! Poor little guy! Every day in my head I hear him sining "My darwin, new new!" He is so cute!
That is scary to hear. Glad that your baby was ok!!! Kids are tough!
I'm ill about all the blood but poor littlest baby of yours! I would have panicked like crazy. How bad did it end up being?
Oh, and did you have to rent the rug doctor?!
I think I'd freak if my kid was gushing blood from their head (I'm not looking forward to that day). I'm glad you didn't pass out and or anything. So yes, did he need stitches?
Darn it, I hate things like this! Of course, my 1st reaction is to call 911, but I think they've learned to quit answering my calls, since I'm a panic(k)er! Hope all is ok, and that yummy motrin makes everything bett!! And glad to see you get to blog a little more!
Add an 'er' to 'bett', and that makes more sense....
Don't you just hate it when things like that happen. I feel so bad for the poor girl carrying him, I bet she felt so bad. Glad everything turned out okay in the end. Need help covering a trench?
WhY do you have a trench? For a sprinkler system? Rock wall? What? Oh, I mean, how's Man Man?!
So after all that did you get to go have ice cream? That's what Cody would've been focused on. I'm glad to hear that it was worse than it looked. Luckily, things usually are.
Poor little Briggy boy! I'm not sure what I would've done either. Glad he ended up being okay. I think it's hilarious that your kids love Motrin so much - I still remember Brielle asking for it by name when she was just tiny...
How sad for Brig, that is so hard when they get hurt. I hope he is okay now. It is always so hard anytime Kody falls or anything, although I wished my kids asked for motrin by name, my kids just cry when I give it to them. Hope he is doing better.
Hey Guppy Baby!
How awful for you, Brig and for your poor friend! I'm so glad that he's ok! I remember when my Dakota whacked his head on the hinge on our door and cut it. He only needed about four or five stitches but it bled so much it seemed like his head must be cut open!
I'm glad that his daddy was close by and I'm glad that Brig is so tough and so easily distracted by Motrin! What a handsome tough fellow! I love you cousin!
I'm so sorry about Brig's head! It sounds so awful! I remember when Travis cut his head, it bled a pulsating geyser! It was amazing when we took him to the emergency room, and he didn't even need a stitch. I hope everyone is feeling better.
I am sorry about your computer dying. Do you know any IT type people? Sometimes they can get files off of crashed hard drives. My work computer died one day, and the IT guy here helped me get my important files off of it. He couldn't get them all, but he got most of them. I was very grateful.
I backed up all my pictures to CD about a year and a half ago. I guess it is time to do it again. I'd sure hate to loose them all.
I was told about a free anti-virus program. Some of the IT guys that work here use it at home, and we use it on some of our equipment here at work. It is called AVG. And I think there is another one called Avast. I think it is really cheap, but I hear they work.
O Poor guy this must be the story you told me in the car. thank you again for taking our pic it means alot and we had alot of fun with you. anyway you should add me so we can keep in touch
thanks again love courtney
OH My GOODNESS Kiss him for me so sad i want to hug him Cry cry cry
