Winter Blues!

Okay, so I need a pitty party. I've got the winter blues... again! I'm in desperate need of St. George sunshine. I want to play a wild game of volleyball without goosbumps on my legs. (For those of you who don't know, goosbeumps make your leg-hair grow faster! Think I'm kidding? Go shave, then stand in the freezer for a while. That smooth, baby-bootie skin will suddenly be prickley! Swear!) I want a real tan that comes from sunshine, not tanning bulbs. I want to throw a baseball & get one thrown back at me so hard it stings. Before you all go sending me samples of zoloft, maybe you could say something funny to make me laugh. Leave a joke. A quote that is bound to make me smile. SOMETHING! Tomorrow is Valentines Day & I have lots to do for school parties and such, so I'll have a reason to put my 5 layers of mascara on tomorrow. For today, though, I'm throwing my own pitty party. Bring on the bons-bons & reality TV! I need a hug... (You have to say that like Donkey on Shrek to get the full effect! :))

Oh girl, I feel your pain! Why don't you strip down to nothing (lock your kids in a room where they can't see you), then go jump in the snow. When you are done go look in the mirror and see what other places grow hair when you goose pimple. Maybe you can market your findings and take the money you earn to buy a trip to Hawii!

Bummer about the pitty-party! Thank goodness you have something fun to look forward to for tomorrow- finding the love for Valentines and serving others!
Hope your day gets better. IF it helps any , we have been stuck indoors all day due to snow, ice, and rain all day long and no school!!!

One day after a heavy snowfall, this announcement appeared on the bulletin board in the nurses lounge of my local hospital: "Student nurses will please refrain from ever again using this institution's sterile bedpans for makeshift snow sleds."
-- Jill Marie Bonnier
Here you go, something to make you laugh and a great fun idea! :) Take the kids!

I'm sorry! I want to come and give you a big hug, then whisk you away to St. George for a week! You have got to move out of Bear Lake, girl! Those 9 months of winter are not good for us Campbell's - I had the same problem in Rexburg. It's too cold and too dreary for way too long! I'll be praying for a job offer to suddenly come Tony's way not in Bear Lake... Love you!

OK, D said I would like you and the more I get to know you, well, I like ya. Ang & D. What a brilliant idea to put me first.

I'm with you with this crap winter. It's time to be done. I do like the bedpan idea. Any ideas where to get some?

Hey Sis, I will come and whisk you away to my house in St. George right now! That would solve all the winter blues, huh? Me have a sister here would be just what the dr. ordered (for me too)! There is a house for rent/sale just down my street.. nice and big and ready to move in....

I wish words could make you feel better! I'm not that good with words, and I certainly am not very funny. I do understand feeling blue, although I feel blue during the holidays, and feel pretty fabulous starting about January.

Here are things that always make me feel better. I recommend baths with good smelling lavender bath salts, and a good book. Don't wear sunglasses when you go outside. Let the sun get in your eyes. Find a little act of service that you can do for someone. Listen to some good music, loud. I really like classical or even opera, especially when I am feeling blue. But that is just me.

I love you. I hope you feel better soon.

I love you I love you. I wish that dose of love could make you better. If anyone knows the desire to leave this igloo forbiden town it is me. I have to say though. Once I made a mind set to stay all the misory left. I understand you are still in limbo and that does not help matters. Most important!!!!!! Is Family!!! And if your happy TODAY!! But you knew that. Right??

I feel the same way! I've had NO motivation for the past 2 months and I have no energy! At first I thought I was prego, but wasn't. It's gotta be the weather. However, I can't complain because I just got back from Cali. I bet you can't wait to tan on top of your roof again! Do you still do that? Love ya! And remember, "tomorrow is another day!"

Oh! I'm glad you can say what we all feel! I had to get away too and thank goodness the girls had a 3 day weekend from school so we jumped into the car and went to Utah...the problem...it was cold there too...with a ton more snow than Idaho had! But it was great to hang out with sisters and friends! When's our next girls night out?! Seriously!

I'm sorry Guppy! I'm trying to think of a funny joke, but I'm never all that funny! Personally I think that your explanation about the leg hair was hilarious. Not that I don't believe you, I totally do. It's just completely funny to hear you explain it that way. If I can get my kids to think up a good one I'll log back on and post it here. Love ya!
