Spring Break in Sunny St. G!

This slideshow is when my family took us to Snow Canyon. The first pictures are at the petrified sand dunes (or the "cow-pies", as my kids called them. Look! They do have a resemblance... :) and the last pictures are while we are actually at the sand dunes. I could've stayed there all day, except I was starting to itch from sand in all the crevices (Hey. I'm talking about my armpits, you dingbats.) and the babies were getting a bit windblown.

Being here made me realize so many things about how very small & insignificant I am. Not in a negative way, just in a I-appreciate-Heavenly-Father's-creativity-way and I felt very lucky to see it. I'm continually in awe at nature!

Just checking up on you. We just got back from St. George yesterday and spent a day at Snow Canyon as well. We loved it. Just to hear my kids say they were hot was wonderful. We left our house in Salt Lake in the snow and drove home in a blizzard, so we appreciated the sun. It is almost hard to believe that St. George is as close as it is. It is another world. Your pictures are so cute. I love to see pictures of your extended family. They are beautiful. Hi, Val.

Guppy! You are a pro at picture-taking. The picture of Brooklyn with her hair blowing in the wind is GORGEOUS! Ah heck, all the pictures are awesome. Way to go, girl!

I have to agree, I Love the picture of Brooklynn. Truely great photography! I also love the bum shot! CUTE!

Crazy how fine that sand is and knowing that there are more worlds than grains of sand. It does make one feel pretty tiny!

Oh! Our Spring Break included wearing all our winter clothes! Lucky for you guys and sunshine! The slide show is the best, and I'm sure when the girls get off the bus in a few minutes, that they'll have to watch it too! Waah about conference, though....

I agree with you. spending some time in God's creation is awe inspiring isn't it. It's good to get out of the house doing the same thing we do every day and spending some time with the family... doing something a little different! Looks like you guys had a blast!

what a great april fools joke. can't believe they fell for it. It really makes you wonder what kids are thinking sometimes!!
